DESCRIPTION
Hello, my name is Plush, and I am about 2 years old, I weigh 53 pounds, but most importantly, I am so sweet! My fur is a beautiful blackish-grey color, and my gentle demeanor will instantly put you at ease. I'm a people-pleaser through and through, always checking in with you for reassurance and love. I just want to stay close to those who care for me.
You can tell I recently had puppies, but with all that behind me now, I am looking for a family to love me forever. You'll often find me sitting pretty, as I have a perfect sit, awaiting your next command or just some loving words. I'm a little submissive, so it would be nice if my new family could help build my confidence. The nice volunteers here at the rescue tell me I am such an affectionate, well-mannered girl and anyone would be lucky to have me.
I'm good with other dogs, I really perk up and get all wiggly when they are around. So, if there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, I would love to meet them.
I'm hopeful that I'll find my forever home soon, I have been dreaming about it. A home where any children are at least 4 years old would be perfect for me. Please come and meet me, I promise to be the bestest friend you ever had!
If you are interested in Plush and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
