Say hola to your new best Amigo! This 6 month old boy is such an adorable puppy! He has the cutest prance as he walks - when he's not busy wiggling! Amigo came in with Parvo, but he knew better days were ahead and persevered! His spirit is strong and he's back to good health. At 6 months he's not done growing up, so he still has lots of playful energy and loves playing with toys (especially stuffies!). He's at a great age - his natural puppy curiosity, eagerness to please and turn anything into a game can help in training. For a puppy he's doing great on a leash and he already knows Sit.

In playgroups he has been tolerant of the other dogs, showing a soft temperament. He likes chase play. Amigo will need to meet future canine companions before going home, like all our dogs. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like.
