DESCRIPTION
Meet Bruno — a big-hearted, lovable 5-year-old pittie who’s ready for a fresh start
Bruno is the kind of dog who makes fast friends. He’s friendly, easy to leash, and loves being around people. Once he’s comfortable, he leans right into you for affection and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. He’s got a playful, social side too — he’ll bounce around, follow you with enthusiasm, and then settle right back down when the fun winds down. On walks, Bruno is strong and excited (he definitely doesn’t skip arm day ??), so he’ll do best with someone who can confidently handle his strength and help him keep learning good leash manners.
Bruno is looking for a more structured home with experienced dog owners who can guide him and continue working on some of his habits. He can be a little protective of his food and toys, so he’ll need someone who understands how to manage that and help him feel secure. Because of this, Bruno would do best in a home with teens and no other pets, where he can be the center of attention. With the right person, Bruno has so much love to give — he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and help him shine.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
