Meet Kianna: A Brave Soul Seeking a Soft Place to Land
They say resilience has a face, and right now, it looks a lot like Kianna
. This stunning one-year-old Pitbull/Lab mix has traveled all the way from Mountain City, Tennessee, to find sanctuary with Eleventh Hour Rescue.
At 50 lbs, she is the perfect medium-sized companion, but her heart carries a weight much heavier than her frame.
Her Journey
Kianna’s story began in a municipal shelter in Tennessee, where she was rescued from a situation of unthinkable cruelty. She survived the kind of foul, targeted abuse that no living creature should ever endure, leaving her with emotional scars.
Despite the darkness of her past, Kianna has refused to let it define her. She is an absolute darling
who is simply looking for the chance to learn that the world can be kind.
The Perfect Roommate
Don’t let her history fool you—Kianna is a total professional when it comes to "being a dog." She has clearly put in the work and is ready to slide right into a home routine:
•
Housebroken & Crate Trained:
She knows the ropes and respects your space.
•
Leash Manners:
She walks beautifully on a leash, making her a dream for afternoon strolls.
•
Social Butterfly:
She is friendly with
kids
and
other dogs
.
•
Cat Potential:
She has been introduced to cats and, with a slow and proper introduction, she would likely do well in a feline-friendly home.
What Kianna Needs
Kianna isn't looking for a high-intensity lifestyle; she is looking for as soft place to heal.
Her ideal forever family will offer:
1.
Patience:
Time to let her walls come down at her own pace.
2.
Understanding:
A quiet environment where she feels safe and protected.
3.
Love:
The kind of unconditional affection she was denied for so long.
Ready for Her Forever
Kianna is
spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations
. She has survived the worst of humanity, and now she’s waiting for the best of it.
