DESCRIPTION
I'm Magic! I'm new to the rescue and got here through no fault of my own. Staff is still getting to know me, and I'm still learning that people and this new environment are safe. The kennel life feels overwhelming for me, so I'm taking things one step at a time.
In my previous home, I was described as energetic and happy but here I'm still finding my footing. I do love going on walks, and I'm non-reactive. I'm also potty trained!
I'm doing well in playgroup with other dogs and slowly starting to feel more comfortable with staff, even if I'm still unsure.
What I really need is a patient, gentle foster or adopter who will let me decompress at my own pace and show me that I'm safe and cared for. I'm not the type to run up for pets right away. I'm more into quiet, getting to know each other in the same space without anything over the top. With time, patience, and kindness, I know my softer, brighter self will shine through and I'm getting more comfortable every day!
