Meet Chunkie!
Chunkie is a handsome 4-year-old Pit Bull/Chocolate Lab mix with the sweetest personality and a gorgeous chocolate brown coat to match. This lovable guy came to us through no fault of his own and is now hoping to find a forever family to help him settle back into home life.
His previous owner tells us Chunkie is both crate trained and housebroken. Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for him, so he may need a little time to decompress and adjust in his new environment—but underneath his nervousness is a gentle, sweet boy ready to love again.
Chunkie also enjoys playing with other dogs! He passed his dog assessment here at the shelter, and we are told he has done well with canine friends in the past. Have dogs at home? Bring them by for a meet and greet! Meet and greets with resident dogs are always required.
