Meet Rocco

Rocco is a 10-month-old Pitbull/Bulldog mix with a heart as big as his love for people. This sweet, affectionate boy was surrendered to our care when his family could no longer house him. He is now searching for a Foster-to-Adopt home through Philly Rescue Angels while he finishes up his heartworm treatment. Rocco doesn’t want to wait for his forever life to begin—he’s ready to start it with you now.

About Rocco:
• Extremely friendly and loves everyone he meets
• Super people-oriented and thrives on attention
• Neutered, vaccinated & microchip
• House & crate trained (a total gentleman!)
• Loves other dogs
• Could do well with cats with slow, proper introductions

What Rocco Needs:
While going through treatment, Rocco will need a calm, low-activity home where he can relax and heal. He will need to be taken to Philadelphia Animal Hospital for his treatment injection visits, but all medical care is covered by the rescue. Heartworm is not contagious, and once treated and recovered, will be able to return to his happy puppy go-lucky self.

Rocco is truly the total package—loving, social, and ready to bond deeply with his person. He just needs someone willing to open their home and heart during this important time. Can you be the one to help him heal and become the amazing dog he’s meant to be?
