Hi! I’m Cleopatra! I was at a high-kill pound, where I came in as a stray, and like many others there, I landed on the “kill list.” The volunteers at the pound saw who I really am, loved me, and believed I deserved a chance, and thankfully, one of them agreed to foster me. Forte is now letting me crash their adoption events while I look for my forever home! I am a goofy, fun, affectionate girl who loves walks, hiking, belly rubs, and peanut butter. Some of my favorite outings are the Playa Vista Bluffs, the Ballona Creek Path, and Westridge, and the trainer says I did well on pack walks with male dogs my size. I learn quickly and know sit, down, wait, take it, and place. I like playing with my rope toy, squeaky toys, and CAT TOYS. I am a quiet dog, but I sometimes bark when Amazon, UPS, or FedEx come to the door because that’s what dogs are supposed to do, right? Other than that, I am quiet. I am looking for my forever home—could it be you?
If you are interested in meeting this pooch, please download the Adoption Questionnaire (farescue.org/pdf_files/questionnaire_canine.pdf), fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
[Cleopatra is 3 years old and weighs 62 lbs.]
