Princeton is a senior Japanese Chin/Pekingese mix with a gentle heart, an easy-going personality, and just enough pep in his step to keep life interesting. Like many distinguished older gentlemen, he knows exactly what he likes, and if you’re someone he doesn’t know yet, he may let you know when he’s not interested in doing something! But don’t let his initial sass fool you. Once Princeton trusts you, that attitude melts away, revealing a sweet, loyal little companion who is happy to be by your side.

One thing Princeton never hesitates about? Making friends with other animals! He absolutely loves the company of other pets and often feels most comfortable when he has a furry friend nearby.

As MARL’s honorary office supervisor, Princeton spends his days keeping a close eye on productivity, squeezing in plenty of well-earned midday naps, and graciously accepting the occasional bite of lunch (strictly for quality control, of course!).

Don’t let his senior status fool you—Princeton is still spry, enjoys exploring, and loves being part of the action. He’s looking for a patient family who understands that earning the trust of an older dog is incredibly rewarding.
