Muggsy - Pekingese Dog for Adoption in Fresno, California

Meet Muggsy! This adorable 2-year-old, 15-pound Pekingese is as loving and sweet as they come. While he looks very much like a Pekingese to us, breed is always just our best guess based on appearance. This precious little guy has already been through so much, but through it all he's remained gentle, affectionate, and full of heart.

When Muggsy came to ACT, he was completely covered in painful foxtails that had worked their way into his skin and caused him a great deal of discomfort. Thanks to lots of love, patient care, and help from both our veterinary team and the staff here at ACT, he's finally starting to feel relief. He may still have a few foxtails work their way out over time, but each one that surfaces means he's feeling a little better and a little more comfortable.

Right now, Muggsy is sporting what can only be described as a very stylish haircut thanks to all the care he needed - and honestly, he wears it well! His fluffy coat will grow back beautifully, and underneath it all is the charming, dignified little companion Pekingese lovers adore. Muggsy is ready for a future filled with comfort, love, and cozy naps with a family who will cherish him forever.
