DESCRIPTION
Meet Patches!
Patches is back at the shelter after spending time in a foster home, and we'd really love to see this little guy find his new home.
Patches is a gorgeous 11 year old Papillon mix, but don't let his age fool you. He still loves to play! At about 10 pounds, he's friendly with other dogs, housetrained, and an all around wonderful companion. He's ready to be spoiled in every way.
And we should probably mention, Patches is a bit of a prince. He knows what he likes, especially when it comes to food! After a full dental procedure that removed his remaining teeth, Patches eats soft food only, and he definitely has opinions about what makes the cut.
At home, he's an easygoing little guy. He's happy relaxing during the day, enjoys walks on leash and strolls around the yard, and is equally content sleeping on the floor or tucked under the covers with you.
Patches is ready for his next best friend. He's sweet, handsome, full of personality, and has plenty of love and play left in him.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Papillon is a small, elegant breed known for its distinctive butterfly like ears and dainty appearance. These alert and friendly dogs are highly intelligent and easily trainable, excelling in various dog sports and agility activities. With a loving and playful nature, Papillons make excellent companions for families and individuals alike. Their silky, fine coat comes in a variety of colors, and their overall grace and charm make them a popular choice for dog lovers seeking a small, lively breed.
