Atlas - Otterhound Dog for Adoption in Bethel, Connecticut

This adorable boy is Atlas. He is a one-year-old Otterhound/poodle (doodle) mix and weighs 45 lb. Atlas is a very sweet and friendly pup. He has a gentle nature and enjoys pets and attention. Atlas can entertain himself well with toys. He is good with other dogs and with children. We don't know what Atlas thinks of cats, but can cat-test him if needed. Atlas is going to make someone a very pleasant, loyal companion. Atlas is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $440. The Otterhound is a large, rugged breed known for its unique appearance and exceptional tracking skills. With a distinct shaggy coat designed to repel water, these friendly and independent dogs are bred to hunt otters in water, making them excellent swimmers. They are loyal and loving companions but require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to thrive. The Otterhound's keen sense of smell and determination make them an excellent choice for tracking and search and rescue work.
