Hey there, everyone! I’m Richie, a charming, affectionate, alert, and fun-loving Norfolk Terrier/ Portuguese Podengo mix fella who has the wheaten-colored, rough coat of both breeds but the drop ears of a Norfolk and the longer legs as well as the muzzle of a Podengo. I’m sure that my expressive, almond-shaped eyes have already caught your attention, and indeed, they are the window into my soul. I have an extremely sweet, trusting disposition that's friendly with everyone – other small dogs, cats, kids, as well as adults.

When I was only about a year old, my owner abandoned me inside of a Kroger store. When an employee saw me wandering aimlessly around the aisles, she scooped me up and took me home. Thank heavens she networked until she eventually located my HOPE foster mom, who has promised to find me a wonderful forever home. Foster Mom soon found that I’m as smart as I am handsome and well-behaved because I’m already leash-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained.
