Meet Lacey — Our Sweet, Lovable “Noodle”!
If you’ve ever wanted a dog who is equal parts gentle giant, cuddle bug, and food-loving goofball, Lacey might just be your girl!
Lacey is a 6 1/2 year-old Newfoundland Golden Doodle, affectionately known as a “Noodle.” She is an incredibly sweet, friendly girl who loves people and has a wonderful, happy personality. After she gets her initial excitement out when someone comes through the door, she settles into her favorite mode: chill, relaxed, and ready to hang out with her people.

Lacey is completely housebroken, can be trusted loose in the house during the day, and does not chew. She is also crate trained, although she doesn't need to be crated when left alone. She knows her basic commands and is a very smart girl who is eager to learn—especially when treats are involved!
Speaking of treats... Lacey LOVES food! She is very food motivated, which makes training a breeze, but her family has learned that counters need to stay clear because she may occasionally go looking for a snack. She might also check out the trash from time to time. Thankfully, she is smart and responds well to correction and training.

Lacey is wonderful with children, but because she is such a big girl, she can sometimes unintentionally knock over little ones when she gets excited. For that reason, she would likely be happiest in a home with older children who are comfortable around a large dog.

She enjoys going for walks, although she does pull on a leash. She does very well with a face harness, which helps make walks much more enjoyable. She also enjoys spending time outside and does well staying in the yard with supervision.

And when the day is done? Lacey wants nothing more than to curl up on the couch or climb into bed with her people for some serious cuddling. Just be warned—this Noodle is not exactly a lap dog, despite what she may believe! She is a big girl and is more than happy to take up her fair share of the couch (and the bed!).

Lacey has no known health concerns and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. She is ready to find a family who will love her as much as she loves them.
