When she first arrived at GCAC, Cypress was heartbreakingly emaciated — just 38 pounds. Even after everything she endured, she never stopped loving people. Now healthy, safe, and thriving, she’s discovering the joys of being a spoiled indoor dog… and she’s fully embracing the lifestyle.

Cypress is a total people-pleaser. She wants to make you proud, stay close to her humans, and keep you laughing with her silly personality. She’s medium energy — happy to toss toys, then settle in for cuddle time and relaxation.

Because she experienced starvation, Cypress is a certified FOODIE. Food is very important to her.

And despite weighing 60 pounds… Cypress is absolutely convinced she’s lap-dog sized. We’ve decided not to argue with her.
