Clark - Mountain Cur Dog for Adoption in West Allis, Wisconsin

Meet Clark! Clark is a fun little guy who’s eager to please and listens well. He likes attention but also his own space at times. Estimated to be about 10 years old, Clark still has playful energy but also likes to nap and relax. He takes a little bit to warm up to someone, but once he does, he will love you forever. He loves walks and loves to sunbathe. His favorite hobby is lounging outside on the deck. He's very food motivated, but can you blame him? He is kennel trained and thrives with a safe, quiet space to call his own.
Clark would prefer slow introductions to new people and new dogs. He likes to play with other dogs and generally does well but occasionally has gotten overly excited and may benefit from redirection from time to time. He has some herding instincts that we have been working on. Clark could live as an only dog, with passive smaller dogs, but might do better with a dog his size or bigger. We recommend no kids under the age of 12.
Clark lived in a stable home throughout his entire life, until recently when his owner unfortunately passed away. This handsome gentleman would make a great companion!
