Nanner - Mountain Cur and Collie Dog for Adoption in Upper Sandusky, Ohio

Nanner is a male Mountain Curr/Collie/Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter with her siblings after his former owner could no longer them. In his previous home he was around other dogs, children, cats, and did well with them. Nanner is working on his house/leash training skills while he waits for a new home. WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)

Originally bred for hunting, this medium to large sized dog is intelligent, energetic, and eager to please. With a smooth coat that comes in various colors, the Mountain Cur is a capable hunter and a devoted family companion. Known for its endurance and protectiveness, this breed thrives in active households and enjoys outdoor activities with its owners.
