Sophie is the kind of dog who makes herself very easy to love. She's sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully well-mannered at home. She's never had an accident in the house, sleeps peacefully through the night in her own dog bed in the bedroom, and rides nicely in the car.

She's also a social girl who gets along with dogs and enjoys playing with them.

Cats? Fine by Sophie. Kids? She's been great with a 3-year-old granddaughter, too. Add it all together, and Sophie has already shown that she can fit comfortably into a home with quite a mix of two- and four-legged family members.

Sophie recently finished the rather enormous job of raising a litter of puppies, who are now ready for homes of their own. Now it's her turn. This loving mama is ready to trade puppy duty for playtime, snuggles, cozy nights in her bed, and a family of her very own.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The Mountain Cur is a versatile and hardworking American dog breed known for its strength, courage, and loyalty. Known for its endurance and protectiveness, this breed thrives in active households and enjoys outdoor activities with its owners.
