Mary Ellen is a 2 year old, 35 lb Cattle Dog/Mountain Cur mix with a heart that’s ready to heal. She’s had a rough start to life and truly needs a confident, experienced dog owner who can help her feel safe and continue building her trust.
Once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, Mary Ellen becomes playful, affectionate, and eager to bond. She is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows basic commands—she’s a smart girl who wants to please!
Mary Ellen gets along well with other dogs, is good with cats, and would do best with older kids who can respect her boundaries. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
She’s ready for the right person to show her what love, stability, and patience really look like.
