DESCRIPTION
The Christmas puppies came to WAG after a difficult start, and they are thriving now. They are spunky and playful with lots of puppy energy. Twinkle and Tinsel are a bit shy since they didn't have much human handling. They will need patient adopters who will help them to learn the love that humans can offer. Blitzen, Comet, Chestnut and Candy Cane are more outgoing. Their estimated birth date is 11/9 and they are now ready to meet their adoring public. They will be available for adoption in the next few weeks.
If you're interested in meeting these adorable new pups, please contact us via Facebook, Messenger or call us at 352-528-9888. You can complete an adoption application at willistonanimalgroup.org anytime. Please know that we strive to choose the best home for every dog, and we do not choose adopters on a first-come-first-serve basis. To be considered, you must complete an adoption application.
ABOUT: CATTLE DOG DOG BREED
The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
