Meet Marcel the Shell, who refuses to have shoes on. She's 8 months old and weighs 35 lbs! She comes to us from our neighbors at WAS. She was hit by a car and sustained large wounds on her leg and head, so Animal Control took her to VESH. While there, they treated and cleaned her wounds. We looked for a foster home for her to recover in, but when nobody took her in, we brought her over, waited for her wounds to heal, and she's recently passed her medical evaluation! She's incredibly sweet and LOVES to lie on your lap or chest and give big wet kisses! She doesn't seem to know many commands, but is eager to learn! Hi, there! I'm a great dog who currently has a little doggy cold, but don't worry, it's totally treatable. Unfortunately, it is contagious to other canines that may be living in your home. Because of my doggy cold, I am eligible for Foster-To-Adopt!
How Foster-To-Adopt works:
1) Pick up your foster dog today and pay a foster deposit.

2) Our foster department will contact you within 5-7 days to check on the dog's health.

3) Once the dog is no longer showing signs of CIRDC (these include coughing, sneezing, and or a nasal discharge), we will schedule an appointment with our veterinarian for a health check.

4) Once the dog is cleared of CIRDC, you can sign the final adoption paperwork, with no money due at the time of adoption! ...
