October - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Westhampton, New York

October is excited to find a home soon because it's her namesake season and she's ready to spend this fall in a furrrever home! She's a super sweet dog just waiting for her match. She's previously lived with another dog as well and can go to homes with or without dogs! (*disclaimer- she is currently being treated or kennel cough so would need a home without another dog until she finishes her medications in about a week).

If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
