Caydie - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Washington, Pennsylvania
CAYDIE
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Washington, Pennsylvania
October 25th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Caydie came from a hoarding situation and the only positive that came out of it is that she is very comfortable around other dogs. She and Razz got along great on their trip from West Virginia and Caydie would make a good choice for a home interested in a second dog.
Caydie is a 33lb., 2-1/2 year old, brownish, smiling, happy-to-meet-ya girl who seems gentle enough for kids. The iPhone identifies her as having a look like a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a mountain cur which comes up a lot when the iPhone is confused about a mixed breed dog!
You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
