DESCRIPTION
Amare (foster mom calls him Murray) is a bundle of activity and playfulness - and sometimes mischief! He is adjusting well to his foster home after being at the St. Thomas Humane Society for four months. He does well on the leash, loves going both around the block and on 3-mile hikes in the woods. He loves all toys, racing around the yard, and a good bone for powerful chewers. Murray Amare is friendly to other dogs, kids, people and non-reactive to cats. At 1.5 years, 36 lbs., he is still very much a puppy but showing aptitude working on his basic commands and manners. He is housebroken and crate-trained and does take time out for naps, cuddles and belly rubs. Murray is neutered, HDX tested and has all of his vaccines. He has a handsome brindle coat and is all-around a very cool dog. Apply for adoption at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
