Looking for a home anywhere in the Northeast!

Bentley is a 3.5-year-old pit mix with a huge personality, a big heart, and enough love to fill an entire house.

This handsome guy is incredibly people-oriented and does great with adults, kids, and visitors. He loves attention, loves to cuddle, and would happily spend his evenings curled up beside you on the couch. Bentley is expressive, affectionate, and always wants to be part of whatever youre doing.

But dont mistake him for a couch potato Bentley is an active, intelligent dog who needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He enjoys toys, training, fetch, and learning new things. He thrives when he has structure, engagement, and a person who enjoys interacting with their dog.

Bentleys Highlights:
Great with people and kids
Extremely affectionate and cuddly
Smart and enjoys training
Walks well on leash with direction
Respectful in the home and generally only plays with items given to him
Settles well after you leave, though he can have some mild separation anxiety initially

Other Animals:
Bentley likes other dogs but can be a little socially awkward. He gets excited, plays hard, and sometimes forgets his manners. Hes known to try humping and can be pushy when meeting new dogs, but hes passive in nature and does not respond with growling or aggression. He would likely do best with a playful, tolerant dog that matches his energy level and can help teach him appropriate social skills.

With cats, Bentley is curious and excited but has shown no aggression. Any home with cats should plan for slow, structured introductions.

Things Hes Still Working On:
House training he has made progress but currently struggles to hold his bladder for long periods and does best with frequent potty breaks.
Jumping when excited.
Remaining calm around other dogs on walks.
Vet visits can be stressful, especially when needles or medical equipment are involved.

Bentley is goofy, loving, energetic, and endlessly devoted to his people. He isnt looking for perfectionjust someone willing to continue guiding him while appreciating all the wonderful qualities he already has.
