I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.

Hi, I'm Goofy! I'm a fun, silly, playful boy who loves people and dogs alike. With my dog friends I love bounding around, rolling, and having a good time playing. When I'm with my human friends I love chasing a soft toy, running around and then leaning in for pets and snuggles. If you want to know what I'm thinking, just watch my ears. They'll go back when I'm feeling a bit unsure, flop around when I'm feeling playful or happy and go straight up when I'm paying attention to something. I'm looking for a home where I can be active and have adventures and also have a safe space to relax and snuggle.
I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.
I get really excited about cats and try to chase them. I might be able to share my home with dog-savvy cats, but first I need a very slow, structured introduction and lots of support from my humans to get used to the idea over time.
It's recommended I meet any kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I jump and sometimes get extra rowdy when I play, and I just want to make sure we all get along safely.
