Jack - Mixed Breed and Schnauzer Dog for Adoption in Valley Stream, New York

Meet Jack!

Jack is a sweet, playful puppy who is learning all about life in a home and making great progress!

This handsome boy is doing well with both potty training and crate training! He happily goes in and out of his crate on his own and is beginning to let his foster know when he needs to go outside. He's on a consistent potty schedule and even uses puppy pads when needed.

Jack is also doing well walking on a leash and seems happy to see people and other dogs passing by, greeting them with a wagging tail! He enjoys the company of other puppies and loves spending time outside exploring, playing, and occasionally digging a little hole in the yard.

Like any puppy, Jack is curious about the world around him and is still learning his basic commands and household manners. He will need a family committed to continuing his training, providing consistency, and giving him plenty of love and patience as he grows.

Jack is a happy little guy with so much potential, just waiting for a family to call his own!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The schnauzer is a versatile and intelligent dog breed known for its distinctive beard and eyebrows. They come in three sizes - miniature, standard, and giant - each with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Schnauzers are loyal, playful, and make excellent family pets. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.

Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.
