Widow's Peak - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Toms River, New Jersey

Hi, I'm Widow's Peak!

I'm a beautiful little merle girl from Tim Burton's Halloween Transport! I recently packed my tiny puppy bags and made my way to New Jersey in search of my forever family!

I'm just a baby pup, learning all about this big, exciting world! Right now, I'm hanging out with my foster doggy brothers and foster cats, learning the ropes of puppy life and how to be the best little girl I can be!

With my gorgeous merle coat and two different colored eyes, I'm definitely one of a kind! But I have so much more to offer than just my pretty looks. I have a whole lifetime of puppy love, playtime, snuggles, and adventures ahead of me!

Could you be the lucky family I get to grow up with?

*Remember - AFO DOES NOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION or guesses as to breed from dogs pulled out of under-serviced high-volume intake shelters!
Why? Our pets are rescued from shelters in underserved communities. All of our dogs and cats deserve to feel loved and know they are wanted. Each pet in our care has their own story which defines their individual personality, behavior, and needs. We provide proper veterinary care and offer a consistent routine to allow for any necessary behavior modification to happen in a healthy and positive way.
Demands for visual breed typing and/or size requirements are contributing to larger scale issues that are impacting the ability of pets and their families to stay together during life changes. Every single pet in our care is beautiful and discrimination towards color, sex, coat type, size, and/or species is an outdated archetype All Fur One is determined to have all our adopters rise above. With that, AFO has stopped participating in visual breed typing practices that are detrimental to our cause, and therefore all veterinary records and pet profiles for dogs will reflect "Mix" as the breed.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
