Hansi is just a good ole' southern boy looking for his "Sweet Home Alabama" in these here northern parts. You see, thanks to his microchip, we know that's where Hansi's story began. And, while he's seen his share of heartbreak in his 4 years, he deserves for his next chapters to be set in a loving home.

Hansi's transformation from scared stray to goofy goober has been nothing short of inspiring. He's still a sensitive soul working on his confidence when meeting new people, but if you give him a little time, some reassuring words and a generous helping of treats, he melts into a puddle of love. He loves snuggling, going for walks, playing with some dog friends (but not too rough) and getting all the belly rubs. He'd do best in a cat-free home and with older kids who wouldn't accidentally play too rough with him. He'd be the perfect companion for a slower-paced environment where he can get gentle exercise, but mostly be a beloved couch potato. Hansi is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If you're ready for his patented sad puppy dog eyes to work their magic, Hansi is ready for a family who will never leave him on a dusty, country trail all by his lonesome.
