Lainey - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Taycheedah, Wisconsin

This absolutely gorgeous young lady is Lainey; she is right around 1 yrs old. She is a special girl who needs a home to let her settle in and let her know she is now completely safe. If you notice her markings on her chest is of an angel. We like to think she has some of this in her :) She was found a few months ago dumped in the deep national forest with another dog and the dog's babies. Being the bigger one she may have been the one who kept them safe, hence her being an angel. But she had clearly suffered some abuse at hands of people since she was petrified of humans, they say she had been in the woods for over a month. She was the last one to be caught and had to be humanely trapped to help save her life. Her foster mom was not going to leave her behind. She was oh so skinny and you could see a lot of her bone structure. But now she looks amazing thanks to her southern fosters help. It took some time for her to realize she was safe and all her foster mom wanted was to help her heal and help her have a good life. She is still shy though and will take a special adopter to help this beautiful lady fully heal her past and show her she is loved and wanted. Fully vetted and is hoping someone will want to say yes to her and show her a good life in safety. Does good with other friendly dogs so a home with another one would likely help her succeed the fastest, and a home with no young kids would be best as well. She is used to being in a fenced in area as well and would likely do better this way. She is a very sweet dog and very smart per her foster. It might take a minute to get her used to you, but when she does you will have a wonderful dog! She loves toys also. Her foster mom adores her but knows this angel could have a much better life in a new home so she can continue to help more dogs just like her.
