Tilly is a one-year-old mixed breed girl weighing in at a perfect 30 pounds. What breeds make up this beautiful black dog is anyone's guess, but her personality is easy to define: sweet, affectionate, and completely devoted to people.

Tilly spent the first year of her life tied outside before arriving at the shelter with her two puppies. Now that her puppies are weaned and she's been spayed, vaccinated, and given a fresh start, it's finally Tilly's turn to be cared for.

If you're looking for a dog who loves people, Tilly may be your perfect match. She absolutely adores human attention and would choose belly rubs over treats every single time. She wants nothing more than to be close to her people and soak up all the affection she can get.

Tilly is currently living in a foster home where she's learning what it means to be a cherished family dog. She seems unfazed by cats and is a wonderful medium size that's easy to fit into just about any home. Because she missed out on many of the experiences young dogs typically have, she'll need an adopter who can continue working on house training, leash manners, and basic home skills.

Tilly does get carsick on rides, likely because she hasn't had many opportunities to travel. With time, experience, and guidance from your veterinarian, this may improve.
