Hes a big boy with a sleek short coat, fully up to date on vaccinations, and has been neutered. Summit plays well with other dogs and, as one of our longest-staying residents, he is ready for new adventures with his future family. ???

When you adopt Summit, he can participate in a FREE 4-week training program at Sublime K9 in Jefferson City, where youll learn leash training and basic commands!

Ready to bring Summit home? Fill out an application today! Theres no commitment to adopt, but it helps us match him with the perfect family or another furry friend. Meet-and-greets are by appointment only since our shelter is run by wonderful volunteers.


All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary examinations. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible.

Noahs Arc is manned by volunteers, the shelter is not open to the public. Meet and greets for the animals are by appointment only.
