DESCRIPTION
Scooter is a 6 month old Male Neutered Cattle Dog Mix who was transferred to us from Tehema County Animal Services in Red Bluff, CA. At the time, the Tehema shelter had over 103 dogs in their care and were grateful to revive any help or relief. He was found as a stray and in their care for around 3 weeks before coming to PetsLifeline. During the 3 hour drive he sat in his transporter's lap and watched the cars go by before finally falling asleep at their feet. His first night at PetsLifeline he did not have any accidents in his kennel. He makes great eye contact and shows eagerness to please. With some puppy classes, he can easily make a great dog and form a strong bond with his future human.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
