Charlie Brown - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Shreveport, Louisiana

Hello, friends! My name is Charlie Brown and I'm one of a litter of four puppies who's looking for a FOREVER home! My siblings and I were brought to the shelter through no fault of our own. You see, we were dumped at a house out in the country. Now we are all in need of some extra TLC to help us grow up strong and healthy. We are friendly puppies who love playing together, and we get along with everyone! I'm an inside companion, but I would really enjoy a fenced-in yard for playtime, as well as a comfy bed and some fun toys! Keep in mind that puppies are a lot of work, so we will need lots of patience and understanding, as we navigate puppyhood. But I'm worth it--I promise! I am ready to go home today as I have already been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
