*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a puppy, after all home checks are done, then the puppy is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that puppy.

Hello! My name is Bowie, and my foster said I should tell you all about me! I’m super sweet, funny, loving, ADORABLE, and extremely intelligent! Who has mastered crate training and sleeps through the night for 6 to 7 hours without any accidents? ME! Who is pretty much potty trained with an occasional accident if not taken out quickly when I let you know I need to go? Me! Love to play, but also enjoy my naps and snuggling! I have been quick to learn and am doing well with sit, stay, come, and leave it, but will need continued training to master it all. I’m learning to walk on a leash, but would rather run free in the backyard. And lastly, my foster Mom says I am an absolute joy to be around and my kisses are the best! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application, and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*
