DESCRIPTION
Gaston was lucky enough to get to spend some time in a foster home and away from the shelter. His fosters absolutely adored him and had this to say...Monsieur Gaston is a handsome Labby gentleman. At 5 years old, he is the perfect age for a family seeking a chill & peaceable companion. His foster family includes 2 adults and 2 lively female dogs. He adores everyone & is an equal opportunity kisser-no one is immune! Gaston definitely is a thinker first before he dives in. But that is totally fine-his foster sisters are showing him fun stuff like drinking from the garden fountain & patrolling for lizards in the yard. Gaston loves laying in the shade, walks w/ his family, & hanging with dad for work at home. He sits pretty for cookies & nightly “tea time”-translated to a scoop of Jif PB! This guy has learned that showers, brushing, & elk bones absolutely rock! He would love humans & dogs who will let him continue just being himself-which we have to say is pretty cool! Say “oui” to Gaston! Gaston is a handsome 5-year-old medium/large mixed-breed fellow weighing 68 pounds. Gaston’s adoption fee has been waived. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply. Santa Fe Animal Shelter is proud to partner with GoodPup! ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
