DESCRIPTION
Meet Lodie!
Lodie and his sister Wuby, plus their little friend Dora, from a life outdoors at the end of January 2026, during that frigid Arctic Blast we had. They had lived their whole lives outside with little human interaction, so they were understandably quite scared when we first got them. We are so so proud of how quickly these two acclimated to life indoors and being part of a family! Now they're ready to find their very own families!
Lodie is great with dogs of all sizes! As the weather has improved, he's learned that playing outside with his dog friends is quite fun but he's always ready to head right back inside as soon as foster mom does. Seems like after living outside for so long, he's now afraid of not being let back in the house! Now that he's discovered the joys of soft blankets and snuggling up for tv time in the evening, he's not about to give it up! Lodie is looking for a home with at least one other confident, playful dog and a fenced yard.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
