DESCRIPTION
Hello from Bean! This handsome guy came to us from a rural South Georgia shelter right before he was scheduled to be euthanized for space - a very sad reality in these small underserved communities. Bean was scared of pretty much everything when he first arrived but he has been thriving with all of the TLC in his foster home. Just check out the difference in the pictures from his freedom ride to today. He's a completely different dog!
Bean is about 1.5 - 2 yrs old and just under 40 lbs. He's great with all dogs and absolutely LOVES to play ball! Bean would love to have another dog friend to play with in his forever home, but in the right situation he could be ok as an only dog as well. One thing Bean definitely needs is a fenced yard. He can still be just a touch shy when meeting new people and his leash skills are still a work in progress, so he will need a fenced yard while he works on perfecting them.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
