Rascal - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in San Francisco, California

Rascal is a 60 lb bundle of love and fun ready to liven up your life!

Rascal is potty trained and working on crate training. Rascal is a very smart dog, picks up training quickly, and is very eager to please his chosen person. Rascal loves food and loves love! He is motivated not only by treats, but also by affection - he truly loves his people and can bond with people of all ages, including young children. Once he has bonded with his people, Rascal has shown some protective behaviors when being approached by strangers. Rascal needs an experienced adopter who is ready to work with and manage these behaviors. He has already completed a two-week board and train program and has a great foundation for further learning.

Rascal is indifferent to other dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home. He can be overwhelmed in busy environments, so Rascal would do best in a suburban or rural area, ideally with a fenced yard to call his own.
