Athena - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in San Diego, California

Athena is a gentle, affectionate, and playful puppy with a sweet soul. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but she quickly warms up and enjoys being part of the fun. Once she feels comfortable, her loving personality truly shines. Athena gets along well with other dogs, enjoys being around children, and loves spending time with people. Like any young puppy, she is still learning house training and leash walking, but she is eager to learn and will thrive with patience, consistency, and plenty of love. Athenas story began before she was even born. Her mom was found abandoned near a neighborhood park while pregnant. A kind family welcomed her into their home, gave her a safe place to deliver her puppies, and reached out to Friends of Human Services of Tijuana for help. Together, we made sure Athena and her siblings received the care they needed. A few months later, the puppies faced an unexpected medical emergency and became critically ill. Thankfully, they all received immediate veterinary care, made a full recovery, and are now safe in a loving foster home. Athenas mom has since been spayed and happily adopted by the wonderful family who rescued her. Now its Athenas turn to find a forever family of her own. She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and ready to meet the family shes been waiting for. Athena has already overcome so much in her young life. Now shes simply looking for a home filled with love, patience, and happy new adventures. She has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide her with affection she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished as a member of the family!!
