Woofie Goldberg - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania

Woofie Goldberg is a 1 year old, mixed breed. In September 2026, she was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray. Woofie is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped soon. For now, though, she is updated on her vaccinations, flea treated, and dewormed.

This lovely little lady has so many good points that we don't know where to start! She's extremely cuddly, outgoing, and adores company both human and canine. Her tail is always wagging!

Woofie seems to get along well with most other dogs, and should do well with her housetraining once on a regular schedule. She does know several of her basic commands such as "sit", and is doing well with her leash training.

If you are interested in adopting Woofie, please fill out an adoption application using our website (echumanesociety.org) and a member of staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible. You are also more than welcome to stop in anytime during our regular business hours and meet Woofie in person! Feel free to call the shelter at (814) 834-3247 if you have any questions.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
