DESCRIPTION
Wally is 5 months old and 15 lbs. He came to Rescue with his brother, Hank because they were older puppies that didn't sell. Never heard of a mini hippo?
Here is the description:
"The Mini Hippo Dog is a relatively new designer breed believed to have originated in the United States. It is a cross between the Cocker Spaniel, a small, energetic, and family-friendly sporting dog, and the Chinese Shar-Pei, an ancient breed from China known for its wrinkled skin.
. The breed was developed primarily as a companion dog, combining the affectionate nature of the Cocker Spaniel with the distinctive appearance and loyalty of the Shar-Pei "
So..... poor little Wally is only 5 months old and already homeless. He has lots of adorable wrinkles and he is a friendly but lower key pup who loves people. He likes to play and be his puppy self but doesn't seem to be rowdy or wild. All of his vet care is up to date including his neuter.
adoption fee: 350

ABOUT: COCKER SPANIEL DOG BREED
The Cocker Spaniel is a beloved breed known for its distinct charm, intelligence, and affectionate nature. With origins as hunting dogs, Cocker Spaniels have adapted to become popular family pets due to their playful demeanor and gentle disposition. These medium sized dogs boast a silky coat that requires regular grooming to maintain its luster. Cocker Spaniels thrive on human interaction and make excellent companions for individuals and families alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
