Meet Nova!
Nova is a sweet 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 8.2 pounds. She can be a little shy at first and may "pancake" to the ground when she's unsure, but with patience and kindness, her affectionate personality shines through. Nova would love a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes and build her confidence.

She's curious about cats but generally finds them more intimidating than exciting. Nova does well with dogs her size and enjoys their company. She may be vocal when left alone initially, but once she settles into a routine, she relaxes nicely.

One thing's for sure-if you're looking for personal space, Nova may not be the dog for you! She's a dedicated face-kisser who loves showing affection.

Adopters must live within a 1 hour driving distance from Romeoville, IL. Reference checks, vet checks, and home visits required. We do not do same-day adoptions.
