DESCRIPTION
This handsome 2 year old hunk is Boomer. He is a certified meathead with a heart of gold. Boomer can be very shy and timid when meeting new people and needs a little time to realize you're not secretly plotting against him. Once he decides you're safe, though, you'll have a loyal companion who just wants to be near his people. Boomer is a big fan of duck treats, sunshine, and spending time outdoors. In fact, being outside is one of his favorite things. Kennels and confinement make him nervous, and he tends to panic when locked up, so he'll do best in a home where he can enjoy some freedom and a predictable routine. He loves neck rubs and giving kisses to return the love. He has done well with other dogs, especially younger, easygoing dogs who aren't interested in bossing him around. Because he's a sensitive soul who can be overwhelmed by chaos and noise, we'd recommend a quieter home without young children. Boomer isn't looking for a house full of excitement. He's looking for someone patient, understanding, and willing to give a shy boy the chance he deserves. Beneath that big blocky head is a sweet dog just waiting to feel safe.
