Opal - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Rochester, Minnesota

Opal! Introducing the most beautiful and sweet pup you could ever imagine! This little lady is much smaller than she appears in pictures and is a gorgeous blue color. Opal was found as a stray in Kansas and brought to Minnesota through our partner organization. We think she's around a year old, maybe a little younger. Currently weighs a petite 38 lbs., which is the perfect sized dog, not large but not small.

Opal is a total people pleaser and wants to be with her family whenever she can. She has some puppy energy, but settles down nicely. She loves walks and treats. Her breed is totally unknown, her color reminds me of a Weimaraner. Her fur is very short.

Kennel Training: Settles in quickly, but would prefer to be with her people.
Potty Training: Has accidents, but is catching on.
Leash Training: Pulls a little, but redirects well.
Doggie doors: Got it!
Tricks: Knows Sit, working on Wait.
Dog Friendly: Yes! Loves to play!
Kid Friendly: Yes, but might jump and knock over small children.
Cat Friendly: Good with cats.

She is spayed, vaccinated, heart worm negative and microchipped.

Adoption fees is $450 plus tax

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
