MILO (Tripod) - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Richmond, California

My name is Milo, and I am a very sweet, easygoing guy with a calm demeanor-and, as you can see, I'm a tripod! But don't let my missing front leg fool you. I'm completely "handicapable" and still manage to get the occasional case of the zoomies! My previous foster did not have any information about how I lost my leg, (hit by car) but whatever happened in the past hasn't stopped me from enjoying life. I've adapted beautifully and get around just fine on three legs.

I'm house trained and know some basic commands, including "sit." I may take an extra second to get there, but hey-I'm working with three legs, so a little patience and grace are appreciated! I enjoy spending time outside and soaking up the sunshine. I got along great with the other dogs in my previous foster home (a pair of Cattledogs and we wrestled and played chase...) and mostly I ignored the cats. I'm also good with kids of all ages and haven't shown any aggression toward people or other animals. One of my favorite things is simply lounging around with my people and enjoying some quality time together.

I'm a happy, resilient guy who doesn't let anything slow me down. Whether it's taking a short walk, basking in the sunshine, getting belly rubs, or curling up on the couch for a good snuggle, I'm ALL in.
I may not have four legs, but I have plenty of love to give. I'll greet you with a wagging tail, make you smile with my goofy personality, and remind you every day that you don't have to be perfect to live a wonderful life-you just need someone who loves you for exactly who you are.
