DESCRIPTION
Looking for a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart? Meet Jax!
This adorable little guy is easily won over with treats—especially if those treats involve peanut butter or cheese! Once you’ve got his attention, you’ll quickly discover that Jax is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves being pet and spending time with his people.
Jax also has a playful side! He enjoys chasing and playing with tennis balls, squeaky toys, and rope toys, so he’ll be a fun companion for playtime and adventures. He has also played well with a medium-sized dog here at the shelter, and he has previously lived successfully with children.
Whether he’s showing off his playful side, enjoying some well-earned pets, or charming you with those irresistible puppy-dog eyes, Jax is an all-around cutie who is ready to find his forever home.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful little companion who can be won over with a tasty treat and a little affection, Jax might just be your perfect match!
Interested in adopting Jax? He is in a foster home so things need to be done a little differently. We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then calling the shelter to let them know you are interested in meeting him. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
