DESCRIPTION
In the opening chapter of my story, I was a stray found wandering near a hospital, a mysterious heroine with chocolate-and-tan fur and a past written in fading ink. But every good novel has a turning point, and mine arrived the moment I learned that people can be kind. These days, I am blossoming like my namesake — playful bows, full-body wiggles, zoomies across the yard, and chin scratches that I lean into like a beloved character returning home. I am quite food motivated, so a tossed treat is the surest way to win my trust (I do confess I take my snacks with enthusiasm, as any passionate reader might devour a good book). I'll admit that walls and barriers still make me narrate my feelings loudly, so my people are learning to greet me with patience and a gentle hand rather than through a doorway. If you're seeking a story of resilience with a hopeful middle and the promise of a happy ending, I am ready to be your favorite chapter yet.
I am full grown at ~45lbs.
How did I get here? Transferred from a local vet hospital where I was found as a stray.
*I’m living behind the scenes, please fill out an adoption survey if you’re interested in meeting me.*
~My adoption fee is $125.00.~
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
