Ileana - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Raleigh, North Carolina

In a tale worthy of the great novels, I, Ileana, began my story wandering the countryside with a companion by my side, searching for the chapter where I'd finally find my forever home. Allow me, dear reader, to introduce myself properly: I am a gentle heroine of three years, somewhat shy upon first meeting, but one whose warmth reveals itself like a well-loved story unfolding page by page. I count dogs among my dearest friends, and my heart remains ever open to new adventures and loving companions. If you seek a loyal character to fill the pages of your life, perhaps our stories were meant to intertwine. The next chapter awaits—will you write it with me?
I am full grown at ~60lbs.
How did I get here? Transferred from Davidson County Animal Shelter.

*I’m living behind the scenes, please fill out an adoption survey if you’re interested in meeting me.*

~My adoption fee is $125.00.~

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
