Caia - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Raleigh, North Carolina

Caia is a 2-year-old mixed breed who came to us as a stray from rural North Carolina, and she's ready to leave her wandering days behind for good. These days, Caia's favorite place to be is curled up on the couch with her people, happily watching a movie and enjoying some quality snuggle time.

Don't let her occasional zoomies fool you--Caia is not a high-energy girlie! She's perfectly happy to head outside for a potty break, enjoy some playtime, and then get right back to her favorite activity: relaxing. If you're looking for a marathon partner, Caia probably isn't your girl. But if "couch potato with occasional zoomies" sounds like your perfect match, she may be exactly what you've been looking for!

Caia has been in foster care with both cats and other dogs, including dogs much larger than she is, and she absolutely loves having canine friends to play with. She also lives with kids ages 9-14 and does wonderfully with all of them. In fact, Caia does not discriminate when it comes to her snuggles--if you're willing to give her some love, she's happy to be your cuddle buddy!

She's fully house trained and crate trained, is comfortable walking on leash, and has even enjoyed off-leash walks with her foster family on their farm once she bonded with them. She's also a fantastic car rider, making her an easy companion for adventures big or small.

Caia is the kind of dog who doesn't need to be on the go 24/7. She's happiest being part of a family, getting plenty of love, enjoying a little playtime, and then settling in beside her favorite people for a cozy evening.
